Virginia Creeper (Parthenocissus quinquefolia)

Virginia Creeper is an excellent choice for quick coverage of any surface or structure. It looks just as good tumbling over a rock wall as it does scrambling up a brick wall. The plant can attach to just about any vertical surface and does so using little adhesive pads on the stems rather than by burrowing into cracks. This means it is perfectly safe for mortared brick, block, or similar structures – super cool growing on a brick chimney! It can grow up to 40+ feet in sun or shade.

It is deciduous so it loses its leaves and takes a break after the autumn color show. Requires nearly zero care.
